Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking a Front Desk team member to manage check-in/check-out, collect insurance information, and ensure referrals are in place. The role includes EMR data entry, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of front desk experience in a medical office, familiarity with ICD-10/CPT, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position offers a standard 40-hour work week with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year front desk experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding and Microsoft Office Suite is required/desired.
• Nextgen knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out and collect necessary information.
• Copy patient insurance cards and ensure referrals are presented.
• Enter and verify insurance information in the EMR system and schedule appointments.
• Assist with other office tasks as needed.
