Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking a Front Desk employee to check patients in and out, copy insurance cards and ensure referrals are presented. You will input data into the EMR, schedule patients and assist with other office tasks.

The role requires health care front desk experience, knowledge of ICD-10/CPT codes, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime; full-time position in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year front desk experience in a medical office or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes is beneficial.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; NextGen EMR knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out; verify insurance cards and referrals.
• Enter and verify insurance information in the EMR system; schedule patients.
• Assist with office tasks and general front desk duties as needed.
