Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking a Front Desk professional in a full-time capacity to manage patient arrivals, referrals, and insurance documentation. You will maintain the EMR, verify insurance information, and coordinate scheduling while supporting a busy retina practice.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of medical front desk experience or equivalent, familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; NextGen knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year front desk experience in a medical office or equivalent (desired).
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, Microsoft Office Suite.
• NextGen knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out and copy patient insurance cards.
• Ensure referrals are presented and information is entered in the EMR.
• Enter and verify insurance details and schedule patients.
• Assist with other office-related tasks as needed.
