Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer one year in a medical office setting.
• Healthcare environment experience is a plus; confidentiality and policy adherence required.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone calls professionally and assists caller needs.
• Greets patients and visitors promptly, courteously, and helpfully.
• Checks-in patients, updates information, performs registration and collects copays.
• Assists patients with ambulatory needs, stays customer service oriented.
• Schedules appointments, referrals, and pre-certifications.
• Files charts and coordinates lab work as requested.
• Sorts/delivers mail and medical records; maintains neat work area.
• Maintains confidentiality and participates in quality improvement activities.
