Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a courteous Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients, helping create a positive experience while supporting efficient office operations and high-quality patient care.

You will welcome patients, check in, verify registrations and insurance, schedule appointments, answer phones, process payments, and assist with MyChart and records. This is a full-time, day-shift role in Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–2 years in medical/office or customer service preferred.
• Credentials/Licensure: None.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
• Check in patients and verify registration and insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
• Assist with patient communications, paperwork, and MyChart support.
• Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.
• Partner with providers and clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
