Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience at a medical practice preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients by collecting required data and payments.
• Scan IDs and insurance documents; obtain signatures on documents.
• Schedule appointments with correct physicians.
• Arrange required authorizations, interpreters, or transportation as needed.
• Monitor front desk alert notes and daily paperwork.
• Handle incoming faxes and direct to appropriate departments.
• Manage waiting room to ensure timely patient flow.
• Inform patients if the clinician is running behind.
