Golden State Orthopedics & Spine in Hayward, CA is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling data collection, scheduling, and insurance procedures.

This role emphasizes strong organization, bilingual Spanish preferred, and a professional, compassionate approach to patient care in a busy orthopedic clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience at a medical practice preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, collect data, and manage insurance and payments.
• Scan IDs and insurance cards, obtain signatures on documents.
• Schedule appointments with the correct physician.
• Arrange authorizations, interpreters, or transportation for appointments.
• Respond to front desk alert notes.
• Complete daily paperwork and update privacy notices.
• Scan daily documents such as policies and authorizations.
• Sort inbound faxes and route to the correct person/department.
• Oversee waiting room and inform patients if the provider is running behind.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
