Job summary

Mercyhealth is hiring a Part-time Medical Receptionist to support front-desk operations in a busy clinic. You will answer phones, greet visitors, route inquiries, and handle Epic scheduling and registration tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires a High School diploma and prior medical reception experience; cross-training in multiple clinics is valued. Eligible for benefits with a focus on patient privacy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical reception experience preferred.
• Internal Receptionist candidates must have at least two years’ experience in a Receptionist 1 position or cross-trained in 3+ clinic departments/locations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls and route messages to appropriate personnel.
• Greet on-site visitors and announce visitors to staff.
• Manage mail, faxes, and office supplies; maintain equipment like fax machines.
• Handle Epic Scheduling and Registration tasks for patient check-in and appointment setup.
• Assist patients with MyChart sign-up and activation; respond to MyChart messages.
