Golden State Orthopedics and Spine is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in California. The role focuses on patient registration, insurance processing, scheduling, and coordinating ancillary needs for appointments.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish, has 1 year of medical practice experience, and can travel between Capitola and Watsonville as needed. A patient‑focused, collaborative environment is offered.

Qualificações

• 1 year experience at a medical practice preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately registering patients by collecting required data, registering insurance, collecting co-pays, co-insurance, surgery deposits, payment on accounts.
• Scanning IDs and insurance cards, printing and obtaining signatures on all required documents
• Scheduling appointments accurately with correct physician
• Obtaining any authorizations, interpreters or transportation for appointments that require them
• Responding to alert notes that apply to front desk
• Completing daily paperwork such as data details, financial policies & privacy notices and updating expire alerts
• Scanning daily documents such as data details, financial policies, privacies, authorizations, referrals and miscellaneous documents
• Sorting incoming faxes and directing to correct person/department
• Overseeing the waiting room to ensure patients are attended to in a timely manner
• Informing patients if MD/PA/NP is running behind
• 50% travel between Capitola and Watsonville required
• Additional duties as assigned
