Job summary

Vantive, a vital organ therapy company, seeks a Field Service Technician to support dialysis-related equipment with installation, calibration, and preventive maintenance. You will travel to clinical sites, troubleshoot devices, and ensure quality service aligned with SLAs, communicating effectively with care teams.

Applicants should have an Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or BMET certification, 3+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification matching biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to diagnose issues and apply independent judgment.
• Experience working in healthcare environments with PPE protocols.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electro‑mechanical medical equipment.
• Diagnose failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage service territory, schedule calls, and travel efficiently to meet SLAs.
• Maintain documentation of service activities and inventory transactions.
• Provide training to customer personnel on operation and inspection techniques.
• Communicate service status and issues clearly to customers and colleagues.
