Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical medical devices across a regional territory. You will travel, perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and customer training, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and independence are essential. Qualified candidates have biomedical engineering background (or BMET), associate degree or higher, and ability to travel 50-75%.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Experience installing, maintaining and repairing medical devices.
• Ability to travel 50-75% and work in healthcare environments with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of electro-mechanical medical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Manage service territory by scheduling service calls, preventive maintenance, and travel.
• Provide training and guidance to customer personnel on equipment operation and inspection techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and inventory transactions.
