Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Field Service Specialist to install, calibrate, maintain, and repair electro-mechanical medical devices across a defined territory. You will travel to hospitals and clinics, perform training for customer staff, and ensure service quality.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, independent judgment, and adherence to safety standards. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to support patient care and company goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering or BMET certification or military electrical program with electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Will be required to travel 50-75% including overnight stays.
• Ability to diagnose issues and apply independent judgment to resolve equipment problems in compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, preventive maintenance, and repair electro-mechanical medical equipment across a defined territory.
• Diagnose failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Schedule service calls and travel to meet SLA commitments.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and inventory records.
• Provide training to customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Communicate service status and resolution details to customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Mentor peers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
