Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, service and repair a range of electro‑mechanical medical devices in clinical and hospital environments. You will travel within a designated territory to perform maintenance, provide training, and ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction.

The role requires 50–75% travel, independent problem‑solving, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation, maintenance and repair of electro‑mechanical medical devices.
• Ability to travel 50–75% including overnight stays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional conduct with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in healthcare environments with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance and repairs on electro‑mechanical medical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Schedule service calls and travel efficiently to meet SLA commitments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and inventory transactions.
• Provide training to customer personnel on equipment operation and inspection techniques.
• Travel to clinical sites for technical support, training and meetings.
• Mentor peers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
