Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel within a defined territory to install, repair, calibrate, and maintain electro‑mechanical medical devices in hospital and clinical settings. The role emphasizes customer interaction, problem solving, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position requires up to 75% travel, lifting up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work independently. A relevant AS/AA degree or BMET certification or military electrical training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on electro‑mechanical medical devices.
• Analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Schedule service calls, PMs, and travel within SLAs and plan parts orders.
• Provide customer training and ensure proper operation and documentation of services.
