Qualifications

  • Associate degree, technical certification, military technical training, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience servicing medical devices, laboratory instrumentation, industrial equipment, or other electromechanical systems.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and electronic reporting systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a regional service territory.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on medical and laboratory equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate service visits and communicate scheduling, arrival times, and job status updates with customers.
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory of replacement parts and service tools required to support field activities.
  • Ensure all service work is completed in compliance with company procedures and customer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for additional service, maintenance, and equipment support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide repair quotes and customer solutions.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through responsive and professional service.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and team meetings.
  • Maintain an organized and properly stocked service vehicle.

Job description
