Job summary

Metrohm USA is seeking a Field Service Specialist to support customers across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. You will perform installations, repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on benchtop analytical systems, with on-site and remote support via phone, email, and Teams.

The role requires travel throughout the territory, strong communication, and collaboration with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or closely related scientific discipline.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.
• Comfort servicing customers in varying client environments.

Responsibilities

Field Service Specialist

to support our customers across Massachusetts and surrounding areas.As a Metrohm Field Service Specialist, you’ll be the face of our Service team—providing technical support and on-site service that keeps our customers’ instruments running at peak performance.Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop analytical systems.Support customers both on-site and remotely (via phone, email, Teams).Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver seamless customer experience.This position supports customers throughout southeastern and Central Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Candidates should reside within the territory to effectively support customers throughout the region. Candidates should be comfortable managing travel and adapting to varying client needs and environments.

• BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the territory in the South Region.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for quarterly bonus opportunities and half-time overtime pay, providing additional earning potential.

• Bonus Points For: Previous experience traveling for field service work.
• Familiarity with process-based applications.
• Candidates with strong computer literacy and experience using common business or industry-specific software.
