Job summary

Tews Company is seeking a Patient Care Representative to support patients and daily office operations. You will answer calls, verify insurance, manage patient intake and referrals, and assist with scheduling while ensuring smooth office workflow.

The ideal candidate has medical receptionist or healthcare customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a high school diploma. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with on-call rotation every third week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical receptionist or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and assist patients and caregivers.
• Verify insurance coverage, including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Handle patient intake, data entry, referrals, and paperwork.
• Explain medical equipment use and care.
• Prepare invoices and assist with delivery scheduling.
• Help with minor equipment troubleshooting and occasional deliveries.
