Job summary

Tews Company in Charleston, WV seeks a Patient Care Representative for medical equipment to serve as the friendly first point of contact for patients and referral sources. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a focus on compassionate service and accurate administrative support.

You’ll verify insurance, document details, use Microsoft Office, and help coordinate home deliveries. Strong communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting are

Full Time: Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm Pay $17- $18 per hour depending on related experience, plus bonus opportunity! What You’ll Bring:

• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—that enable clear and polite interactions
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a quick-moving office setting
• Organizational prowess with attention to detail
• Confidence in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, including insurance verification and documentation
• Competence with Microsoft Office, email communication, and office equipment
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing at least 35 lbs. and, when necessary, make home deliveries and drive company vehicles

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the home healthcare industry, medical billing, or patient intake
• Familiarity with insurance reimbursement processes and medical terminology
• Prior work with durable medical equipment or respiratory services

Preferred Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• One year of related work experience in healthcare or administrative roles is preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (when applicable)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
