Job summary

Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking a Program Specialist-Medical Education to provide comprehensive course support for Phase 1, Year 2 MD courses. The role manages courses in Canvas, Examsoft, and One45, coordinates scheduling, attendance, and exam preparation, and collaborates with Phase 1 coordinators to support curriculum delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; at least 2 years of directly related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Serves as administrative coordinator for all aspects of second year medical education courses.
• Establishes and organizes each course within Canvas per protocol and updates information for accuracy.
• Manages room scheduling per session needs and sets up Zoom meetings as necessary.
• Tracks attendance using Qwickly for all mandatory in-person sessions.
• Prepares exams using electronic exam management tools and posts grades in Banner.
