Altimmune is seeking a dynamic Medical Director to lead Medical Affairs for MASH, ALD, and AUD. Drive external engagement, shape medical strategy, and partner cross-functionally to prepare for pemvidutide's Phase 3 development and future commercialization.

This hybrid role requires hepatology/gastroenterology/endocrinology expertise, 12+ years in biotech, and strong cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• MD strongly preferred with 10+ years in biotech/pharma.
• DO, PharmD or PhD with 12+ years also acceptable.
• Experience in Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Development.

Aufgaben

• Lead Medical Affairs strategy across MASH, ALD, and AUD aligned with milestones.
• Translate data into scientific insights for decision-making and communications.
• Provide medical input into disease area strategy, lifecycle planning, and priorities.
• Design external engagement with KOLs and manage investigator relationships.
• Contribute to publication strategy and support pre-launch activities.
