System One is seeking a Medical Director I to support US Medical Affairs for an antiviral portfolio on a 12-month contract. The role will help develop and execute US antiviral medical strategy and tactics aligned with business goals, and work as a key member of the US Medical team to strengthen internal and external scientific partnerships.

You will collaborate with commercial, field medical, HEOR, digital, and medical information teams to deliver medical plans; review materials for compliance;

Qualifikationen

The client seeks a Medical Director I to support US Medical Affairs for an antiviral portfolio on a contract basis for 12 months. This role will help develop and execute US antiviral medical strategy and tactics to achieve short- and long-term medical objectives aligned with overall business goals. The Medical Director will be an integral member of the US Medical team, working to strengthen internal cross-functional and external professional partnerships, including development of collaborations and antiviral-focused medical communications.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams such as commercial, field medical, HEOR, digital, and medical information to enhance and deliver US medical plans. The role will participate in review of promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure compliance and scientific accuracy, serve as a trusted scientific resource on data and disease state, and support data generation as well as manuscript and abstract review and congress planning activities. The Medical Director will also support customer insights and competitive intelligence monitoring, assist with medical education grant processes (including RFP development and grant management), contribute to training material development and expert medical presentations, and help manage headquarters-led advisory boards.

Required qualifications include an advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD), experience with antivirals, and experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry. Experience as an MSL, in Medical Strategy, or a related medical function is required, along with strong understanding of medical communication and scientific engagement practices, excellent communication and presentation skills, and demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and independently manage priorities. Additional expectations include engagement with professional societies and patient advocacy groups and partnering with Medical Information to support review of medical letters and content updates, with the role supporting medical content development for congress and advisory activities in compliance with policies.
