Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Global Medical Lead for MASH to drive the integrated medical strategy, evidence development, and external engagement across markets and functions. You will lead a team of Medical Directors and work with Medical Affairs, R&D, Commercial, and Market Access to align priorities and investments.

The role requires an MD with 15+ years in pharma/biotech, strong leadership, and experience in MASH or related hepatology fields.

Qualifications

• MD required for leadership of medical strategy and asset plans.
• PhD, MBA, or advanced training in clinical research or health economics is a plus.
• Experience leading Medical Affairs strategy for a major asset or disease area is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated global MASH medical plan and strategy.
• Lead the end-to-end Medical strategy for Resmetirom across functions.
• Synthesize portfolio progress and communicate to senior leadership.
• Represent Madrigal externally at scientific congresses and forums.
• Foster a diverse, high-performing Medical Directors team and culture.
