Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Global Medical Lead for MASH to direct the integrated medical strategy and portfolio across resmetirom and future assets.

You will partner with Medical Affairs, Commercial, R&D, and cross-functional teams to ensure scientifically rigorous plans and aligned execution across markets. You will lead a high-caliber team of Medical Directors, drive evidence priorities, and engage with external experts to shape strategies and decisions that maximize patient

Qualifications

• MD required with advanced clinical training in hepatology/gastroenterology/endocrinology or related field.
• 15+ years in pharma/biotech with substantial global Medical Affairs leadership.
• Experience representing Medical Affairs on senior cross-functional asset teams.
• Deep scientific understanding of MASH or liver disease.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated global MASH medical strategy and portfolio across assets and life cycles.
• Align evidence generation, stakeholder engagement, and lifecycle planning with Medical Affairs leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional medical teams and external partnerships for strategic execution.
• Manage senior medical leadership, risk assessment, and external scientific engagement.
