Job summary

Our Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic in Arlington, TX is seeking a Medical Director (Infectious Disease Physician) for our outpatient facility. You will join a fully staffed team focused on serving the local community, with no nights or weekends required.

Office-based role with on-site work, supervision of mid-level providers, and a strong emphasis on timely documentation and patient care. Board-certified ID/MD or DO is required, with DEA/Furnishing licenses in place.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Valid DEA and Furnishing license.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Supervise mid-level providers and conduct chart reviews/audits.
• Complete documentation the same day or within 72 hours.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• 4 hours of protected administrative time per week.
