Job summary

Accounting Search seeks a Medical Director (Infectious Disease Physician) for our Arlington, TX outpatient facility. You will lead clinical operations and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality infectious disease care.

The role requires MD/DO, valid licenses, and the ability to manage 14–18 patients daily with no nights or weekends. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered, including bonuses and relocation support if needed.

Qualifications

• Must have an MD or DO with an active, state-appropriate medical license.
• Must possess valid DEA registration and Furnishing license.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Collaborate with care team to support patient well-being.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete documentation the same day or within 72 hours including E/M codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions.
• Support patient retention efforts and provider with care coordination.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs/NPs) and perform chart audits as required.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
