Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic in Arlington, TX seeks a Medical Director (Infectious Disease/Family Practice/Internal Medicine) to lead outpatient care at our Arlington facility. You will join a fully staffed team dedicated to serving the local community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active medical license in the relevant state.
• Must have valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift (or 7 per half-day).
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity targets.
• Document visits with accurate E/M coding within 72 hours.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions (HTN, diabetes, HIV, STIs, etc.).
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff.
• Supervise mid-level providers and perform chart reviews as needed.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
