Job summary

Joseph Michaels International seeks a Medical Director Infectious Disease physician for an outpatient facility in Arlington, TX. You will join a full team dedicated to community health, focusing on high-quality patient care and workflow efficiency.

The role requires an active MD/DO license, DEA registration, and outpatient experience. You will manage patient care for 14–18 patients daily, supervise PAs/NPs, and support documentation and retention efforts.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active state medical license.
• Must have valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Able to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• CPR/BLS certification must be active.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and maintain productivity standards.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Document visits the same day or within 72 hours with accurate billing codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs/NPs) and perform chart reviews as required.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
