6 Degrees Search is seeking a Medical Director specializing in Infectious Disease for our Arlington, TX outpatient clinic. This physician will oversee daily patient care, manage productivity, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a valid MD/DO license, active DEA/Furnishing licenses, and outpatient experience. Expect a competitive salary with comprehensive benefits and no night shifts.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Valid DEA and Furnishing licenses required.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily.
• CPR/BLS certification active.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient care and meet productivity targets.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete same-day or within 72 hours documentation with accurate E/M codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic conditions and acute issues.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Supervise mid-level providers, including chart reviews as required.
• Support patient retention efforts with retention summaries.
• Administrative time: 4 hours per week per policy.
