Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in San Antonio, TX seeks a part-time Medical Director/Attending Physician to oversee resident care, provide clinical guidance, mentor staff, drive program development, and sustain high-quality geriatric services in skilled nursing facilities.

You will lead QAPI initiatives, support DOH readiness, ensure regulatory compliance, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and continue delivering direct patient care within a nationwide, patient-centered network.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive LTC/SNF experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in long-term care.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to stand and walk on facility floors and manage patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical staff to maintain high standards of care.
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development.
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to evolve clinical offerings.
• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring high-quality treatment.
