Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a dynamic Medical Director to oversee the delivery of comprehensive care to residents in skilled nursing facilities.

You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to clinical staff, fostering collaboration while maintaining high standards of patient care. You will chair the QAPI initiative, guide credentialing, and ensure DOH readiness, with a focus on geriatric care advancements.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred for the Medical Director role.
• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in LTC.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical staff to maintain high standards of care.
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development.
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to evolve the facility’s clinical offerings.
• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring high-quality clinical treatment and support.
