Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a Medical Director/Attending Physician for a part-time role to oversee comprehensive care in skilled nursing facilities. You will provide leadership, mentor clinical staff, and ensure high-quality patient care across the team.

You will direct credentialing, support DOH survey readiness, drive QAPI initiatives, and implement new clinical programs while staying up-to-date with geriatric care. Direct patient care may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in LTC.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand/walk 6–8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight and clinical guidance to medical staff to maintain high standards of care.
• Foster collaboration and ongoing professional development across the team.
• Lead interview and credentialing for new medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee quarterly.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatrics and long-term care advancements.
