Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a dynamic Medical Director to oversee the delivery of comprehensive care in skilled nursing and long-term care settings.

You will provide leadership to clinical staff, promote best practices, and ensure high-quality patient care across the facility. You will chair committees, drive quality improvement, guide credentialing and DOH survey readiness, while keeping abreast of geriatric care advances to enhance the facility’s clinical offerings.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in LTC.
• Collaborative with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight and clinical guidance to medical staff.
• Foster a collaborative environment with best practices and development.
• Lead interview and credentialing for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI committee quarterly.
• Assist in DOH survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatric care advancements to evolve clinical offerings.
• Provide direct patient care to residents with high-quality treatment.
