Job description

A medical device client is seeking to expand their sales team to cover the Northern California territory. This role involves promoting and selling their device designed to protect patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices. The position is fully remote, with weekly travel to foster sales growth and build relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and strategic partners.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the introduction and sales of the device within the assigned territory.
  2. Achieve and surpass sales targets through effective planning and execution.
  3. Identify potential hospitals and physicians for product integration.
  4. Conduct regular visits and follow-ups to maintain a strong presence in the medical community.
  5. Support partnerships through physician and staff education, training, and mentoring.
  6. Promote the company's device as the standard of care in surgery, requiring a deep understanding of its features and benefits.
  7. Maintain ongoing contact with customers to provide support and ensure satisfaction.
  8. Manage customer complaints efficiently, complying with quality system requirements.
  9. Participate actively in internal training sessions, regional, and national meetings while staying compliant with company policies.

Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of medical device sales experience.
  • Experience selling into electrophysiology labs is ideal.
  • Familiarity with complex hospital sales, contracting, quality systems, and timely reporting of customer complaints.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geography.

The position offers a salary of $85,000–$95,000 plus uncapped commissions, bonuses, full health benefits, 401K, and a car stipend or mileage reimbursement. The first-year OTE is approximately $180,000 annually.
