Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Product Development Engineering Co-Op to join our ECP Product Development Team in Danvers, MA. You will design, build, and evaluate medical device components and test fixtures, contributing to cutting-edge heart pump and vascular access technologies.

The role emphasizes hands-on bench testing, prototyping with 3D printing and machining, and data-driven analysis, under a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanical design, engineering mechanics and experimental methods.
• Experience with 3D CAD software; SOLIDWORKS is preferred.
• Ability to organize and analyze data using Excel; statistical analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute hands-on bench testing for device components and systems.
• Develop and improve test methods, procedures, fixtures, and measurement robustness.
• Create and iterate mechanical designs using 3D CAD and support prototyping via 3D printing or machining.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data; present conclusions to the team.
