Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of rapid prototype manufacturing and test methods.
• Familiarity with statistics and experimental design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of mechanics and fluid flow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility testing including part inspection and root cause investigations.
• Prototype devices via rapid fabrication or assembling subcomponents.
• Develop and validate test methods and perform statistical analysis.
• Design fixtures and support device and kit development.
• Contribute to team discussions on device design and usability metrics.
