Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking two Access & Pump Engineering Co-ops to join the Cardiology team in Danvers, MA. You will conduct feasibility testing, prototype devices, and develop test methods while collaborating on device design and data analysis to support breakthrough cardiovascular solutions.

Applicants should be mechanical or biomedical engineering students with SolidWorks skills; experience in rapid prototyping, statistics, and experimental design is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• SolidWorks proficiency preferred.
• Experience with rapid prototyping methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of experimental design and test method development.
• Skills in root cause analysis and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility testing including part inspection, root cause investigations, fixture development, and testing.
• Prototype devices via rapid prototyping or assembly of subcomponents.
• Develop and validate test methods; perform device evaluations for usability and safety metrics.
• Design independent fixtures and manufacture them rapidly.
• Analyze data statistically and compare with baseline data.
• Provide flexible support across access device, component, and kit development.
