Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking two Access & Pump Engineering Co-ops to join our Cardiology team in Danvers, MA. Our Credo guides us to create an inclusive environment where every person is valued and health for humanity is the focus.

Co-ops will conduct feasibility testing, prototype devices, and contribute to test method development while gaining exposure to regulated medical device development and cross-functional collaboration with the Cardiology group.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Familiarity with rapid prototype manufacturing.
• Knowledge of statistics and experimental design.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Understanding of mechanics and fluid flow.
• U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship needed now or in future).
• OPT/CPT/STEM OPT may require future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility testing including part inspection and root cause investigations.
• Prototype devices via rapid manufacturing or assembly of subcomponents.
• Develop and validate test methods and conduct device evaluations.
• Support test method development and contribute to design discussions.
