Job summary

Ferno in Dallas, TX, seeks a Field Service Representative-Medical Device to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex medical equipment at customer sites. You will ensure optimum device performance, minimize downtime, and support clinical staff in safe operation.

You will travel up to 75% of the time, provide on-site and remote technical support, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams to improve service quality and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in field service, medical device support, or a related technical role.
• CBET certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test medical devices at customer facilities according to company standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and safety checks on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair devices, diagnosing issues and resolving them quickly.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Train clinical staff and end-users on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Maintain service documentation including reports, logs, and compliance records.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and safety standards.
