Job summary

Laborie is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Dallas area to install, maintain, and repair medical equipment across facilities. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to travel extensively across the United States.

Responsibilities include on-site service, troubleshooting down to component level, and accurate documentation. A technical college degree with 2+ years' field service experience is required; clinical device experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical college degree with 2+ years field service experience.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and PC/network knowledge.
• Ability to travel 4–5 days/week and work remotely from home when needed.
• Clinical expertise in medical device setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site equipment installations, maintenance checks, and repairs following Laborie policies.
• Analyze and isolate root causes, troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies and peripheral equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of issues and on-site visits in ticketing system with clear documentation.
• Stay knowledgeable about Laborie product line and service offerings; keep up with industry trends.
• Adhere to Laborie service levels to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Make travel arrangements to complete scheduled visits.
