Job summary

Ferno-Washington, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Representative-Medical Device to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment at customer sites across the Dallas area.

You will ensure optimal device performance and minimal downtime while delivering outstanding customer service to healthcare providers. You will travel up to 75% within the territory, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and safety checks, and provide on-site and remote support.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of field service or medical device support experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related engineering field preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test medical devices at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and safety checks.
• Troubleshoot and repair devices, diagnosing issues accurately.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clinicians.
• Train staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Maintain service documentation and compliance records.
• Adhere to FDA/ISO requirements and company policies.
• Travel within territory and coordinate with 3rd party resources.
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and service equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams.
• Identify opportunities for service contract renewals or upgrades.
