Job summary

Laborie is seeking a Field Service Technician in Dallas, TX, to install, service, and repair medical equipment at customer sites. The role requires traveling within the U.S. to support hospitals and clinics, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure documentation is complete in our ticketing system. The position offers growth opportunities and a customer-focused environment that values teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

Technical College degree with at least 2 years of field service experience in medical or regulated environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of PC operating systems, applications, and network protocols.
Ability to travel 4–5 days per week and work effectively from a remote home office.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site equipment installations, maintenance checks, and repairs per Laborie policies and procedures; use hand tools for precise repairs.
Analyze and isolate root causes; troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies and peripheral equipment down to component level.
Maintain accurate records of issues and on-site visits in the ticketing system; document tasks clearly.
Stay informed about Laborie product line and service offerings, plus current industry technologies.
Maintain adherence to Laborie service levels to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Arrange travel to complete scheduled visits.
