Job summary

Columbia Valley Community Health is seeking a Medical Coding Supervisor to lead the coding team, ensure accurate and compliant coding across departments, and coordinate with Revenue Cycle and Compliance for optimal reimbursement.

The role includes training staff, monitoring audits, and implementing process improvements, with telecommuting within Washington state considered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years medical coding experience, incl. 2 in supervision.
• Strong ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and FQHC billing knowledge.
• Experience with EHR, coding software, and payer guidelines.
• Associate degree in HIM or related field preferred.
• AAPC or AHIMA certification required; CRC preferred.

• Oversee daily coding team operations and quality.
• Lead audits, ensure compliance with regulations.
• Deliver coding education and coaching.
