Job summary

cwpnonproviders is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to handle patient calls, collect demographics and insurance information, and schedule appointments. The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, accurate data entry, and efficient call handling across multiple company locations.

The candidate should have strong communication skills, be able to multi-task, and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs job in accordance with Company mission, vision and goal.
• Exercises confidentiality in all areas, abiding by HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Provides professional and courteous customer/patient care, displaying knowledge of the treatment approach.
• Accurately collects new patient information, including insurance data and verifies eligibility in real-time.
• Schedules patient appointments and triages high volume of calls.
• Escalates or routes calls to proper recipient for resolution.
• Maintains knowledge of products and services; supports training and in-services.
