Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls seeking information, scheduling, or assistance.
• Provide accurate information on clinic services, billing, and inquiries.
• Schedule appointments based on patient needs and provider availability.
• Verify patient information, insurance eligibility, and coverage.
• Assist patients with the online patient portal for scheduling and records.
• Address concerns empathetically and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system.
• Comply with privacy regulations and protect patient data.
• Participate in ongoing training for call center operations.
• Verify eligibility via Medi-Cal, Health Plan, MHLA websites.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
