Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Call Center Representative to join our team. You will handle inbound calls, assess urgency, triage, and route calls to ensure quality patient care, while delivering outstanding service to every patient.

Daily tasks include scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, assisting with patient communications and MyChart support, and documenting messages in the EMR; prior authorizations and referrals are also handled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in medical/physician office or customer service preferred
• Experience answering calls and coordinating patient communications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Answers calls for Ancillary Services.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages.
• Assist with patient communications and MyChart support.
• Records messages for physicians and staff accurately in the EMR system.
• Obtains out of network authorizations.
• Answers questions related to referrals and prior authorizations.
