The American Institute is actively seeking a Program Director to coordinate and ensure the smooth operation of their instructional departments, aiming for student retention and placement rates that meet accreditation standards while sustaining high student satisfaction.

This full‑time on‑campus role includes teaching load, staff supervision, curriculum development, and strategic planning with the Director of Education, Campus Director, and Department faculty.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and current Medical Assisting certification.
• Minimum three years of experience in the field with one year of direct patient care.
• Prior teaching experience required.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Staffing needs assessment, interviews, and hiring recommendations.
• Orient and train faculty; oversee program and scheduling.
• Evaluate performance and plan professional development.
• Administer retention programs and ensure accreditation compliance.
• Coordinate clinical/externship sites and maintain student records.
