Jobot in Dublin, OH is seeking a Medical Assisting Program Director to lead the new on-site Certificate in Medical Assisting program. This full-time role offers the chance to build curriculum, oversee accreditation efforts, and collaborate with faculty to ensure high instructional standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), be credentialed in Medical Assisting, and have several years of healthcare and teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Credentialed in Medical Assisting and in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years healthcare facility experience, incl. 160 hours MA setting.
• Minimum 1 year teaching in postsecondary or vocational education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to promote commitment and results.
• Maintain high standards of instruction; lead accreditation efforts.
• Complete and administer the annual budget.
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate faculty.
• Organize student advising procedures, faculty teaching loads, and quarterly class schedules.
• Develop and maintain relationships with practicum sites.
• Support collaboration with other programs for interprofessional education.
• Represent the MA program internally and in the community at large.
