Job summary

The College of Healthcare Professions (CHCP) seeks an Associate Medical Assisting Program Director to oversee curriculum development, staff supervision, and compliance with accreditation standards. This role supports the MA Program Director and ensures a high-quality learning environment.

Responsibilities include supervising instructors, maintaining records, recruiting staff, and expanding the program with new courses. Teaching and mentoring medical professionals is a core focus of this position.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in medical assisting.
• Current Medical Assisting Certification and CPR Certification.
• 3+ years of direct patient care experience.
• Teaching experience or passion for training and mentoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support instructional staff.
• Assist curriculum development and review.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Monitor student progress and provide guidance.
• Recruit and develop qualified instructional staff.
• Maintain accurate records and academic policies.
• Support program development and new course initiatives.
• Deliver engaging instruction and manage classroom dynamics.
• Provide student advising and tutoring.
