Job summary

South College is seeking an MA Program Director to provide leadership for the Certificate in Medical Assisting programs. You will collaborate with faculty to uphold instructional standards, lead accreditation efforts, and manage budgeting, hiring, and scheduling.

The role requires organizing practicum sites, guiding student advising, and representing the program within the community to advance collaborative opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience teaching in postsecondary or vocational/technical education.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with faculty while promoting instructional excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the MA Program to advance accreditation and self-study efforts.
• Collaborate with faculty to promote commitment and results; maintain high standards of instruction and service.
• Develop and administer annual budget; recruit, hire, and evaluate faculty.
• Organize student advising procedures and quarterly class schedules; manage practicum relationships.
• Represent the MA program and engage with the community to foster partnerships.
