Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification/registration required or within 6 months of hire.
• BLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties such as pre-visit work, obtaining vital signs, providing medication reconciliation, and assisting providers with examinations and/or procedures.
• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization; keep exam rooms stocked and clean.
• Respond to patient portal messages the same day.
• Administer vaccines and manage prescriptions per standing protocols.
• Schedule pre-admission testing and follow-up calls to patients after surgery.
• Greet, check-in/out patients, schedule appointments, manage records, and handle communications.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Core Physicians policies and regulations.
• In some practices, may perform scribing duties and document encounters; place labs and referrals as needed.
• Monitor care team metrics and provide coverage for other Core Offices as needed.
